    2) What were some of the CHALLENGES immigrants faced when they moved to the United States? Some of the challenges immigrants faced when the moved to the United States was they had to find a job and home. They need to learn a new language,



    3) What were TENEMENTS, and why did many immigrants live in them? Tenements were apartments and many immigrants live there because they was poor and they had family’s. They had no were to go.



    4) Why did some Americans oppose immigration? Americans oppose immigration because they thought they was using the us and they was taking to mush stuff.

    Immigrants moved to the United States they were eager for the job opportunities created by the U.S. industrial boom of the late 1800s.


    2) What were some of the CHALLENGES immigrants faced when they moved to the United States? The challenges immigrants faced are they needed to find homes and jobs. They had to learn a new language and get used to new customs. This was all part of building a new life.

    3) Tenements were buildings that immigrants live in.That were small, ugly, overcrowded, and unsanitary street.
    4) Some Americans oppose immigration because jobs been taking away natives, and to much immigrant was coming the united states.
