1) Why do you think the Pure Food and Drug Act was important?
2) Look at the "Election of 1912" map on page 102. Which individual had the MOST popular votes during that election? Which individual had the LEAST votes? How can you tell?

  1. 1) Why do you think the Pure Food and Drug Act was important?
    This law is important because it prohibited manufacture,sale,and transport of mislabeled or contaminated food and drugs.
    2) Look at the "Election of 1912" map on page 102. Which individual had the MOST popular votes during that election? Which individual had the LEAST votes? How can you tell?
    The one with the most votes is Wilson I no this because on the map it as a key chart and is says that Wilson as green and green as the most votes.
    3) What was the Clayton Antitrust Act of 1914?
    The Clayton antitrust act was against monopolies. The federal trade commission created in 1914 had power to investigate.
    4) Why was the Federal Trade Commission created? The Federal Trade Commission created because it had power to investigate.

  2. 1) I think the pure food and the drug act was important because the law prohibited the manufacture, sale, and transport of mislabeled or contaminated food and drugs. 2) The individual that had the most popular votes during the election was Wilson. The individual that had the least votes was Taft I can tell because he only has 8 votes.
    3) The Clayton Antitrust Act of 1914 strengthened federal laws against monopolies. 4) The Federal Trade Commission created in 1914 had the power to investigate.

In 1906 Congress passed the Pure Food and Drug Act this law prohibited the manufacture, sale and transport of mislabeled or contaminated food and drugs.Wilson have the most votes and Taft have the least votes.In 1914 the Clayton Antitrust Act of 1914 strengthened federal law against monopolies.Commission created because it had power to invetigate.
